Concept
The concept behind the Sculptural Staircase project was to create a sleek open-tread staircase with the intent of a levitating structural aspect. The staircase travels three levels within the home and acts as a main hub for circulation. The sculptural staircase utilizes three inch thick solid walnut treads, creating a rich atmosphere within the well when natural sunlight flows through the space throughout the day.
